Ms. Waters is the past President of The International Society for the Study of Trauma & Dissociation (ISSTD) and is the author of Healing the Fractured Child: Diagnosis and Treatment of Youth with Dissociation (2016)
While EMDRIA has recognized and promoted an understanding of dissociation in complex trauma, practitioners still struggle with this critical part of successful treatment of children with complex trauma.
